Unauthorised Firm Details
Name: Romtrading.net & romtrading.pro
Website: romtrading.net & romtrading.pro
ROM Trading presents itself as a cryptocurrency (and sometimes multi-asset) trading platform. According to its own website, it claims to use “AI-driven software” to monitor markets, identify trading opportunities, execute trades on behalf of users, and broadly simplify the trading process.
The website domains associated include romtrading.net and romtrading.pro (and perhaps other variants). The UK regulator, Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), lists those exact domains as belonging to a firm “Rom Trading” that may be providing or promoting financial services without permission.
The UK’s FCA has issued a formal warning: “This firm may be providing or promoting financial services or products without our permission. You should avoid dealing with this firm and beware of scams.” The warning lists the firm “Rom Trading” and the websites https://romtrading.pro and https://romtrading.net.
Another independent review “Traders Union” notes that Rom Trading is not regulated by a Level 2 or Level 3 regulator and is “either registered … or unlicensed” in the UK context.
Romtrading.net has a very low trust score. They highlight that the domain is very young, the owner is hidden (via privacy), there are reviews that look suspicious, the site may host “high‐risk cryptocurrency services” and share servers with other suspicious sites. The UK company registry shows a company named “ROM TRADING LTD” (company number 15589219) incorporated March 2024, address 50 Solon New Road, London, SW4 7PW, but the status is “Dissolved” as of 1 July 2025.
Many of the claims (e.g., “98 %+ success rate”, vast global coverage, “no hidden fees”, AI bots doing the trading) appear to be promotional in nature and lack independent external verification.
While Rom Trading presents itself as a polished, “AI-powered” trading platform with global reach and minimal friction, the weight of the regulatory warnings, trust scores, and transparency issues strongly suggest caution. At this time, it is not advisable to assume the platform is safe or standard you should treat it as high risk.
