Unauthorised Firm Details

Name: Gcmpro.io
Website: gcmpro.io

GCMPro which can be accessed at “gcmpro.io” presents itself as a Spain regulated company, yet it lacks authorization from the “Comisión Nacional del Mercado de Valores which is the Regulatory Authority of Spain.”

On 22th July of 2024, Pursuant to the second paragraph of Article 18 of the Securities Markets and Investment Services Act (Law 6/2023, of 17 March) The Comisión Nacional del Mercado de Valores (National Securities Market Commission) warns that: ” ‘https://gcmpro.io’ ‘GCMPro’ is not authorised to provide the investment services and activities subject to the activity restriction in accordance with the provisions of Article 129 of the Spanish Securities Markets and Investment Services Act, in relation to the financial instruments detailed in Article 2 of said Act, including, for those purposes, foreign currency transactions.” on CNMV’s website (www.cnmv.es).

Upon further investigation we also found that the domain gcmpro.io is registered in 12th March of 2024 for only one year. Also noticable fact is that the company is showing no information for their Domain Registration in the name of Privacy Protection. We also got several reports of fraudulent activities thoroughout our investigation and there are also reports about their scam on verified reviews websites.

Another noticable fact is that recently GCMPro has been receiving numerous complaints and is suspected of engaging in questionable practices aimed at stealing from investors. We are assuming that they are rapping up their Scam and going for a run.

Key Red Flags to Watch Out For

If you’re evaluating any online trading or investment platform, here are the major red flags that gcmpro.io raises (and that you should watch elsewhere):

  1. No credible regulation or license
A trustworthy broker is typically licensed by recognized financial authorities (e.g. FCA, ASIC, CySEC). GCMPro lacks that.

  2. Short domain lifespan & anonymity
New domain registrations, especially with privacy masking, are often used by scam operators to avoid detection or accountability.

  3. Promises of high, fast returns
If a platform promises to “double your money in 24 hours” or similarly unrealistic gains, that is nearly always a bait tactic.

  4. Withdrawal issues & barriers
The inability to withdraw funds, sudden account freezes, or extra demands to deposit more to unlock withdrawals are classic scam features.

  5. Lack of transparency
No clear company address, no verifiable team, vague descriptions of service.

  6. Aggressive recruitment & retention tactics
Reports indicate that after depositing, users are “escalated” to agents who push for more funds.

  7. Third‑party complaints and warnings
When multiple independent sources warn about a platform (regulators, review sites, forums), that’s a serious warning sign.
