MarketsAdvGroup (often styled “MarketsADV”) is an online investment/trading platform. According to its promotional materials, it offers users access to financial markets (forex, CFDs, commodities, indices, etc.), claiming to help clients invest and trade using its tools.

However, scrutiny by independent reviewers, regulators, and watchdogs reveals a number of red flags that suggest significant risk and potential fraud.

How the Scam Might Operate (Based on Patterns)

1. Aggressive marketing & recruitment
   They may advertise large returns in short times, promise “guaranteed profits,” or pressure people to invest quickly.

2. Initial deposits, then upselling
   After accepting a small deposit, they may push “upgrades,” bonuses, or higher-tier accounts, encouraging you to deposit more.

3. Inability to withdraw / new fees
   Once you request a withdrawal, they may come up with excuses: “You need to pay a tax / compliance fee / withdrawal processing fee first,” or claim “account verification issues.” These extra demands are used to squeeze more money.

4. Disappearing or blocking access
   The platform or website may go offline, or your account may be frozen or closed without returning funds.

5. No proof of actual trading
   You might not be able to verify that real trades were made — statements or dashboards may be fabricated.

   Verdict & Takeaway

   Based on the weight of evidence, marketsadvgroup.com is associated with multiple red flags characteristic of fraudulent investment schemes:

   • Absence of credible regulation

   • False or unverifiable claims of licensing

   • Domain registered only recently

   • Concealed ownership

   • Complaints about withdrawal difficulties

   • Regulatory warnings in some jurisdictions

   • The site going offline or being unreachable

     On 14th October of 2024, Pursuant to the second paragraph of Article 18 of the Securities Markets and Investment Services Act (Law 6/2023, of 17 March) the Comisión Nacional del Mercado de Valores (National Securities Market Commission) warns that: “https://marketsadvgroup.com MARKETS ADV is not authorised to provide the investment services and activities subject to the activity restriction in accordance with the provisions of Article 129 of the Spanish Securities Markets and Investment Services Act, in relation to the financial instruments detailed in Article 2 of said Act, including, for those purposes, foreign currency transactions.” on CNMV’s website (www.cnmv.es). These warnings confirmed that the Markets Adv is running as a unregulated and unregistered firm.

     Markets Adv on it’s Website claiming that they got approval and regulated under CYSEC, BAFIN, CONSOB & ASF. But in reality they are not either authorized or regualated by any of those regulatory authority. In fact after they registered in May 2024 it’s not even possible to get all those regulatory authorities approval in that short period of time. There fraud claim by itself enough proof that they are doing some shady business.

     Upon further investigation we also found that the domain marketsadvgroup.com is registered on 20th May of 2024 only for a year. Also noticable fact is that the company has provided false information for domain Registry. We also got several reports of fraudulent activities thoroughout our investigation and there are many more reports on verified reviews websites.
